Who are the volunteers?

  • Board Members

  • ATSU organizations & students

  • Truman organizations & students

  • Church groups

  • Kirksville community members

  • Any individuals willing to dedicate time 
     

When do I come?

Volunteers are needed for both A.M. and P.M. shifts.  Shifts begin at 8:00 AM and end around 12:00 PM. Shifts last approximately two and a half hours.

 

What would I do?

Captains on duty will & assign tasks to volunteers. Tasks they assign include, but not limited to the following:

  • Answer phone to reserve meals for callers

  • Organize meals for delivery & pick-up

  • Prepare meal bags with bread & dessert

  • Assist in the meal prep

  • Set-up & assist on the tray line 

  • Assist with dish washing, cleaning, trash, & recycle

  • Meal delivery, only in the Kirksville area and will require volunteer/s to use their licensed vehicle

  • Provide customer service to pick-ups

  • Provide customer service to dine-ins
